**NETWORKING BARRIE IS GREAT SUCCESS**

Thank you to everyone who came out to this year's Networking Barrie Conference at Tangle Creek Golf & Country Club, including Mayor Jeff Lehman. It was an informative and interactive afternoon highlighted by some great speaker sessions and some exciting speed networking and business building interviews!

INTRODUCTION TO NETWORKING BARRIE 2012

The first annual Networking Barrie event will take place on February 6th, 2012 from 12pm to 4:30pm at Tangle Creek Golf & Country Club. The event happens during International Networking Week® which runs from February 6th to February 10th, 2012 across the globe.

This event will showcase keynote speakers and interactive educational sessions that will help businesses of all sizes utilize and improve their networking skills to generate new business.

The theme for International Networking Week 2012 is Business Networking and Sex (Not What You Think). Essentially, the goal is to explore how men and woman network differently in order to achieve goals. Women tend to focus on building relationships but forget about asking for business, while men often forget about building relationships and prematurely go for the sale. Often the best way to generate networking success is to blend elements from both styles; building relationships and generating business from those relationships.

Join us on February 6th at Networking Barrie for a series of interactive sessions and exercises to hone your business networking skills, whether male or female.
